Welcome to class!

The studio fires electric kilns in oxidation. We bisque to Cone 06 (1850 degree f) and glaze temperature is Cone 5 ( 2200 degree f), We provide a great selection of glazes for  the class.

You'll need to bring to class: (available at NSCC bookstore)

1. One 25# bag of Clay -  that will fire to Cone 6 ( ie Vashon buff, or Vashon red )

2. One pottery and clay tool set (whch includes a sponge, needle tool, wire, 2 wire loops, metal rib, wood   rib, and modeling stick.)

3. Sketch/note  book

You will get dirty so please bring a towel, wear appropriate work cloths or bring an apron.
