Introduction to Drawing with Lise Graham

Material List-

-Charcoal pencils: 1each of the following densities- soft, medium, hard

-Vine charcoal: 1 box soft or medium density

-Pencil sharpener with receptacle

-1 Pad of white drawing paper (not spiral bound unless it is made to rip cleanly in a straight line) no smaller than 18” x 24”

-1 Pad of newsprint 18” x 24”

-1 Drawing board with clips

-Erasers: 1 gum eraser, 1 white plastic eraser,

-Viewfinder- handout with directions (heavy cardboard, matt board or like- approx. 16" x 12")

- clips

-1 waterproof portfolio to transport your drawings and paper

-plastic box to keep your supplies organized (or plastic pouch)

Optional

-Spray fixative or inexpensive hair spray

- Pink Pearl eraser, stick erasers

- Sand Paper Block,

- Blending Stump

- Compressed charcoal- 3 in a package (char-koal)

- Pencils: One of each of the following- 2H, HB, 2B, 4B
